Is Winter Over Yet?

This winter has been extremely cold and snowy. Very little work could be accomplished at Walnut Ridge with these subzero temperatures. The good news is the animals have become more active recently and I personally hope that is a sign that spring is closer! We are looking forward to getting out this late winter and spring. The fall work finished, we are now ready for more tree plantings, invasive control, and education opportunities with our youth of Wayne County. Many projects also need to be completed this year including completing a foot bridge, trail maintenance, and other minor erosion work. Great things are ahead for Walnut Ridge!
