The mission of Walnut Ridge is to

• sustain the health, diversity, and productivity of the forest

• achieve quality land management practices

• advocate a conservation ethic in promoting the health, productivity, diversity, and beauty of forests and associated land

• encourage community and youth education in safe forest management practices

• protect and manage the forests and associated land
